The Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA), Government of India (GOI) has initiated MCA21 program, for easy and secure access to 'MCA' services. MCA stands for Ministry of Company Affairs and '21' stands for a 21st Century Initiative.

One of the key essentials before you start e-filing with the MCA is the procurement of Digital Signature Certificate for all the Directors, Company Secretaries & Chartered Accountants. This certificate is issued by certifying agencies (CA) appointed by the Govt. For the MCA21 project the minimum requirement is of a class 2 PAN Individual DSC. It is recommended to buy DSC with a USB Token for better security.
